This is one of the Kelt Warriors from Rackham. Painted this one with both heavy blacklining and heavy darklining. I spent a long time on the gems on this guy, with results rather like all my previous results, but I learned a lot about gems from the experience, which will show in the future. It's hard to tell, but I painted the green on his shield with a different technique than I've been using, and it looks a lot better irl.

Note the dead bird tied to his waist. I painted its eyes sort of greenish. Much of the "shadow" on his legs around his skirt is actually darklining. There was a casting seam still on the mini, unfortunately located over the "tattoo" on his shoulder. (very visible in photo #4 and #5). I failed to remove this seam because, at the time of preparation, my files were all old and ratty. I have since bought new files, and it will never happen again, I promise!
