Wrath of God 10/05/2004

    On 10/05/2004 we here in Socorro experienced a hailstorm which lasted, I'd guess, approximately 20 minutes. The hail started as small, say 0.5 inch diameter, then progressed to what I would describe as roughly 2.25 inch diameter hailstones. Cars were totalled. Lots of cars. I was better off than most because my car already needed a new windshield, and I don't really care that I have divots all over the body now which make it look like a golf ball.
